Nilgiri’s is back where it all started. . .well, almost!

Our journey began in Crows Nest in 1998, serving regional Indian food in a contemporary style from an open kitchen. We moved to larger premises in St Leonards in 2003 with private rooms, a tiffin Room & the works! It was a challenging passage & whilst we created an iconic location serving our popular Sunday Buffets & Thalis in our Tiffin Room, our time in that space was up. Our new home (where our heart is!) in Cremorne, is opposite the famous Hayden Orpheum. Today, eighteen years after our humble beginnings, we are serving popular Indian dishes but this time they are cooked & presented my way – with a twist! Yes, you heard me right; this is my personal interpretation of the classics, cooked in an open kitchen, just like we did all those years ago!
